The Spanish region of Asturias, located in the northern coast of the country is one of the most beautiful and interestly one of the less known regions of Spain. Guarded by the mountain range of the Picos de Europa, it is the only land that was never conquered by the Moors during their invasion of the Iberian Peninsula that lasted from 711 until 1492.
The air is clean, the fish abundant and flavorful and the vegetables plump and plentiful year round.
